I've decided to enabled the "Adult" content switch for this blog, even though it is not particularly adult. I've also decided to stop it being searchable in search engines.
People advertise way too much of their lives for no great return. My recommendation, only advertise the bear minimum of your life, or where there's some concrete benefit to your life (like financial benefit.) Ideally, keep all your private life, private!
I do not do (but have done in the past): Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
I still share stuff on a few internet forums, and one Discord channel, maybe this sharing will cease in time too, but for now, I get some kind-of social pleasure out of doing it.
