Q: What is important in your life?
A: Freedom!
More than anything, it is the freedom to think what I want to think (and not feel guilty). If I want to think "my work is a load of bollocks", that is what I want to think. And the truth is, when it comes to my thoughts, I am free! I think my work is a load of bollocks! I think life is mostly a load of bollocks! Yes, life is meaningless, once you see the joke that is being played on us all, it is funny!
Freedom to be truthful is important too. Alas, you cannot always be truthful with your thoughts around others. The best you can hope for, is to be truthful to yourself and realize you are bollocks talking to others out of necessity (i.e. so you don't lose your job / unnecessarily upset people.)
Otherwise, I guess:
1) Somewhere safe to live (my house). 2) Health and fitness. 3) A purpose in life. 4) Love dolls (#1 hobby). 5) My Lotus (#2 hobby). 6) My wife (#3 hobby.)
Of those, lets focus on 2 & 3:
2) I've bought a running machine and wrist and ankle weights. The idea is 30 minutes run up to 4 times a week (one run might be the Park Run) and a couple of Insanity workout days, so 6 days of exercise in a week. Also, will do weights and press ups.
3) My Purpose in life:
Life if meaningless, so it deserves a meaningless purpose. My purpose in life is to be the greatest ****** Professional Services Consultant ever. Also be the most qualified amongst my peers.
Q: What Are Your Distractions?
A: Too many!
Alphabetically: Discord, dolls, gmail, Instagram, food, Forums, porn, YouTube. These are my main distractions. But I don't love them or need them in my life. I don't want to be distracted during work time. I don't want: Discord, dolls, gmail, Instagram, food, Forums, porn, YouTube (during work time.)
Q: Your Career?
A: I'm lucky and I know it!
Whilst I find my work meaningless, I know I'm very lucky to have the role I have, and to have had the career I have had. If it ended (I got sacked) I would see it as an opportunity for change and look back with gratitude over a lucky time. Of course (as above):
My purpose in life is to be the greatest ****** Professional Services Consultant ever. Also be the most qualified amongst my peers.
Q: Who Are You?
A: The greatest ****** Professional Services Consultant ever 😊
Q: What/how do you want to contribute to mankind (going beyond yourself)?
A: (See below)
- I want to be the greatest ****** Professional Services Consultant ever (and one of the most qualified too.)
- I want to be the greatest doll lover ever with the most varied and wonderful collection (but not the biggest - quality over quantity.)
- I want to enjoy my sportscar and share it with the world in the simple ways I can.
There are no goals there that will make my life fulfilled, but you don't need fulfillment to have a fulfilling life. Arguably, whenever you think you've reached fulfillment, it is never going to be quite there - you will always be chasing that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is fulfilling to simply strive to be the best you can be at something.
