Something Has Got to Give!

I need to change my ways. My work has been suffering the last few years because I've allowed too many distractions to take over my life, and I've not had the willpower to douse the flames of distraction.

Also, I've been struggling with this work life balance thing, and realize now that there's nothing wrong with working all the time. Greatly, pastimes are waste-of-times. As long as you eat and drink healthy, exercise, and get sufficient sleep, working all the time is perfectly fine. Enjoy what you do and don't expect to be able to do what you enjoy all the time!

This is what I need to do:

TOP OF MIND (6)

Develop a "work comes first" mindset (nothing wrong with working all the time!)

Aim to work from 0730 to 1830 and sleep 2130 to 0430 - working even longer is better!

Stop thinking about doing stuff, and actually do the damn stuff!

News > Personal Blogs (MK) > Forums > Discord > Twitter > YouTube ... (basically all those distractions you get little value out of) only after 1830 please (including on weekends)!

Pastimes after 1830 please, or weekends/holiday (of course, working those days is perfectly fine too!)

Use your fondleslab only where absolutely necessary!

NICE TO DO (5)

Work emails 3 times a day - morning (0730), midday (1200), late afternoon (1500) - and personal emails mostly only in the evening (1830).

Plan to do the Insanity workout 4 times a week (bonus: go running 2 times a week)

Eat and drink healthily (only tea/coffee/water and nuts after breakfast until 1830 and supper) and stick to the 90-minute rule

More reading (good for the mind and concentration)
