Back in 2021 I learnt about Dakimakuras. And in the few years since (2021-2025) I managed to accumulate over 100 and purchased 9 of the inner pillows (4 quality, 5 from Amazon.)
But now, I am down to just 7 dakimakuras and 1 inner pillow.
100 dakimakuras destroyed, 8 inner pillows destroyed.
Yes, a terrible waste, but no real option to sell them. And likely the remaining 7 will go at some point.
We're looking at £10'000 wasted and also a lot of time wasted too.
I so need to stop wasting my money.
I was watching something on YouTube recently which kind of said:
"We buy stuff, not because we need it, but because it stops us wanting it!"
Yes, there is truth to the above. Many times I've really really wanted something, bought it, and then not wanted it anymore (and barely looked at it).
I need to learn to skip the buying bit and just move onto the not wanting it (using my dakimakura experience as leverage.)
