The Routine to the Long Term Plan

  • "How can I create value for others?". Be passionate aboute creating value for others. "When you give value to others authentically, you're actually bringing value to yourself." - Maha Abouelenein
  • Self-discipline is freedom! Discipline today, success tomorrow!
  • The only way to live is in the service of others. You will never find yourself if you are only focused on serving yourself - you will live an empty life without meaning.
  • Be passionate about your work/career/business. It is your work/career/business which brings you the wealth/opportunity to follow your passions (and if you're really lucky, your work/career/business is your passion.)
  • Happiness is in the enjoying what you do, not in the doing what you enjoy / Happiness is not about getting all you want, it is about enjoying all you have.
Notes
  • Treat your phone as a phone. No incessantly fondling your fondleslab. Please keep the fondling to a minimum!
  • Exercises:
    • Back Stretch & Leg Stretch
    • Sit-ups, Weights (35), Sit-ups, Weights, Sit-ups
    • Back Stretch & Leg Stretch

Routine (Workday)

  • Set your alarm for 0555!
  • Exercises
  • (Optional) Running before work, midday, or after work (5 runs in 7 days would be ideal)
  • (Optional) Walking before work, midday, or after work.
  • Make a daily to-do list! (Ideally, the night before the day to come)
  • 5 minutes meditation
  • Start Work before 0800 (or 0900 if morning run)
  • Practice the 2 hour rule (2 hours between drink/food refills)
    • also 2 hours between checking things like emails (i.e. not incessantly checking)
  • Finish Work after 1800 (or 1700 if evening run) or keep working until bed ...
  • Things you avoid until after 1900:
    • ** Generally, anything that only serves you and has no productive benefit! **
    • Social media (Doll Forums, Facebook, Discord, etcetera.)
    • Doll stuff (but taking photos when a good opportunity presents is okay)
    • Thinking/dreaming about cars (AutoTrader, Pistonheads, future events, upgrades ...)
    • Movies/TV/YouTube (except educational)
    • Sex/Masturbation/Porn
  • Exercises
  • Aim to be in bed by 2300!
Routine (Holiday)
  • Things you avoid until after 1900:
    • Social media (Doll Forums, Facebook, Discord, etcetera.)
    • YouTube (except educational)
Service (value)
  • Be of service to your mental health
  • Be of service to your physical health
  • Be of service to your financial health
  • Be of service to your employer (or work/career)
  • Be of service to your family
  • Be of service to your passions (with right moderation)
  • Be of service to your future
* Business/employer/work/career over family. Why!? Well these allow you to provide all the things you want for family and yourself. Without being able to provide for your family you cannot be of service to them.

Passions (cultivate the right passions with right moderation)

Cultivate healthy passions > unhealthy passions!
  • Being of value/service to others!
  • Being debt free!

  • Work/career - being of value, knowing my stuff, educating others ...
  • Excellence (the pursuit of excellence)

  • Travelling/trekking (vacations)
  • Food & drink!
  • Cars
  • Soft toys

  • L****** art (after 1900 on workdays except when having a ****)
Long Term Plan

Retire from IT at/before 55 (mid-2031).
If I get sacked or made redundant before mid-2031, I'd take that as an opportunity to retire from IT early.
  • When I retire from IT:
    • Sort out my assets and investments
    • Spend time with family (wife and daughters-in-law)
    • Travelling/trekking
    • Driving (like the NC500)
    • Volunteering
    • Teaching
    • Working (without stress, without pressure, where I can be of value/help)
    • Sell/give away/find a nice home for all my assets.
    • Die penniless at a time of my choosing! (I never want to be a burden).
"The thought of not existing after my death fills me with no more dread than the thought of not existing before my birth." - Lucretius
