I was thinking about the amount of illegal stuff on the internet, that we can readily buy from our normal home internet connections. And thinking that if the Police really wanted to do something about it, they would block these internet sites so we cannot buy this illegal stuff (usually the illegal stuff is stuff that does no harm to anyone, it's just immoral/obscene from someone's point of view, so very easy for one to think - "if there's no harm in it, why not!?")
Forbidden fruit is a name given to the fruit growing in the Garden of Eden which God commands mankind not to eat. In the biblical story, Adam and Eve eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and are exiled from Eden.
It's like the story of Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit. If God didn't want Adam and Eve to eat the fruit, why did he make a temptation of it in the first place?
And this is what I think of Police. They like catching people for doing no wrong.
Police: "You bought something illegal - that's very bad - we're going to add you to our stats of offenders we have caught and prosecuted for doing no actual harm - rather than the much harder job of getting off our backsides and finding proper criminals (like murderers, rapists, thieves....)"
That's what I think. Really, if we've done no harm, and we've been able (without much trouble) to find this illegal (in our country) stuff on the internet, then the person who really needs their bottom spanked are the ones that should be policing the internet and making sure we can't easily get the stuff they've decided to make illegal!
Cunts!
