A funny idea that I've been practising for the last few weeks:
"Throw One Thing Away Every Day!"
The idea is that you find something in your house that you don't need - you never use it, you don't get any value out of it, it is just essentially cluttering up your house - and throw it away.
I've always been anti-clutter, and this is a great idea. I think in the rich Western countries, we have so much in our houses that just clutters up our lives, much better to let it go! Now it would be better to donate the unwanted stuff to a charity shop, if you have the time and energy to do that.
Anyway:
"Throw One Thing Away Every Day!"
This one thing cannot be a consumable. Throwing away big stuff that you don't need is more satisfying (it saves more space) but it doesn't have to be big. You could for instance have a draw full of screws that you keep thinking "I might use that someday" but you've never ever used any of them, so you could throw away a screw a day!
