Over time, hopefully I am distilling down some rules of life (& work). I have to admit that my self-discipline is poor (it’s been poor for many decades) and this is something I need to work on. Still, I can compose a list of rules of life that would benefit everyone if followed. And I’ll be positive and say that from today, I’m going to endeavour to apply these rules of life.

To shun frivolity and embrace productivity, means to reject unserious and light-hearted things that are not productive, and fill your time doing productive or beneficial things (productive/beneficial for yourself, your loved ones, your employer/business.)
