A new life philosophy that I've never read/seen anywhere else! And I think this one suits with me. All those years playing Civilization and similar strategy games, highly motivated to be a god, now I realize why I enjoyed them so much, and was so enraptured by those games. I wanted to be godlike at what I did. I wanted to be a god!
The Life Philosophy: I Want to be Godlike at What I Do!
Approach to Work
You approach to work is that you want to be godlike at what you do. You take your work seriously, you are dedicated, you are curious to learn as much as you can possibly learn, you strive for mastery of your chosen profession. You want to be a god at your profession.
Random quote: "It is the privilege of the gods to want nothing, and of godlike men to want little."
- You want to be godlike at life.
- A god does not waste time on trifles.
- No time for social media, YouTube, forums etcetera (unless for educational or business/financial purposes.)
- A god wants to be godlike at his chosen profession.
- A god takes care of himself.
- Keep fit
- Eat and drink healthily
- A god wants little.
- A god is happy with what he has (but strives to improve/better himself and the life conditions for himself and loved ones)
- Is not controlled by the materialistic desires of men
- A god doesn't doubt.
- No procrastination.
- No whinging/moaning.
- A god gets stuff done!
- Focuses on one thing at a time!
- And does not get distracted!
- A god does not dwell on his mental state
- Accepts you cannot be happy all the time and doesn't dwell on depression,
- Doesn't start questioning the meaning of life.
- Doesn't dwell on the ultimate pointlessness of it all.
- Doesn't dwell on past failures (which are beyond change ... they are in the past) and remains focused on future success (but learns from those failures)
- Does not fear failure but embraces it!
- Does not worry what others think of him and does what he must (shall).
- A god has a plan!
- And he sticks to it.
