A Routine of Consistency

A consistent routine for work days (where possible). You can use the same routine on holidays too, but don't have to, it is up to you.

My goals are simple:

  • Believe in myself.
  • Consistently apply myself.
  • Enjoy work/studying/learning/research/blogging/life!
  • Seek freedom from things that try to bind you down (like addictions, distractions, possessions)!
  • Don't care unnecessarily (what will, will be) and simply care about that one thing you are doing in the present (The Eternal Now).

The Routine (Work Days)

Note 1: I'm running 3/4 times a week (like every other day) but I may increase this to maximum 6 days a week (need at least one day of rest.)
Note 2: The idea is to at least try to succeed with all 10 rules, but if - for whatever reason - you cannot do all 10, no problem, the main thing is that you try.
Note 3: Stretches = made up of 6 x 30 second timed stretches (calf/tibia/calf)
Note 4: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are NO FAP days!
  1. START: ~ 05:45: Wake up, stretches, running, breakfast and ablutions!
  2. Climax < 09:00 or > 19:00 (likely usually < 09:00) and only Wednesday
  3. Work & necessary things from < 09:00 until > 18:00
  4. [105 minutes rule] No distraction from drink for > 100 minutes after last drink pouring!
  5. [105 minutes after midday rule] No distraction from food until > 1200!
  6. [Email rule] At ~ 0900, ~ 1200, ~ 1500 (i.e. not stuck on them all day - just 3 checks!)
  7. [After 5pm rule] Running (if not done in the morning)
  8. [After 6pm meal] Main meal eat after 6pm (no lunch)
  9. [After 7pm rule] No distraction from forums, porn websites, YouTube until > 1900!
  10. Stretches and need to be in-bed with lights off by ~ 22:15FINISH!
My main distractions are drink, food, internet forums, sex and porn (Rule 34 mostly) and YouTube. I want to free myself from these distractions!
