My Goal (Next Destination)

A ship has a simple goal to get to a destination. Only one destination. And there's always a destination after the destination. A ship never sails without a destination to go to! A human being is not as simple as a ship though. Perhaps we are like 3 ships with each ship being one of our lives. Why 3 lives? Well, we have a work life, we have a personal life, and we also have the ego life (i.e. we want to do something in our work life, we want to do something in our personal life, and we want to do something for the good of the ego.)

*Where does this come from? Well, it was probably my best/favourite compliment of all time. This would have been 2012. One of the project managers I worked with, left a comment on Linkedin "... is a one-man technical army ..." and I loved it. I want to return to that belief I can do anything. And I can do it all by myself, I don't need help (but happy to ask for help.)
